Would you look at that? It’s almost the end of April and I’m still working from home on my couch. Who would’ve, in a million years, thought something like this was really going to happen? Not me! That’s for sure, and I’m sure not you either. Aaannnd I’m definitely sure not the bride who has a wedding planned for this June and now is terrified this isn’t going to happen. I’m sure.
However, I wanted to talk about the things you can control while you’re home dealing with these unprecedented times right now. You can still pick your bridesmaids' dresses. You can re-arrange your vows. You can still choose what you want your “first dance” song to be. You can still create a Pinterest board and keep dreaming of what you want your special day to look and feel like. You can do all of those things. I know it may seem pointless to keep creating and deciding when you just can’t see that official date, but I promise to you, it isn’t. Dreaming and planning is not pointless. Creating a perfect, fairy tale wedding is not pointless! These are all still major decisions that need to be decided and would be decided (probably) by not even leaving your home anyway. In that regard, you are in control again over these aspects of your wedding day.
It’s so hard to focus on the bigger picture when there are so many obstacles out of your control getting in your way, but, if you keep a little glimmer of hope and positivity around you at all times, I promise these dark days will lighten up at least a little bit. Oh, and not to mention, everyone at Lambs Hill misses you all so much! We think about you all each and every single day wondering, creating, and implementing ways we can make your lives easier. We all want you to stay safe, stay healthy and most importantly, stay positive! You’re going to come out of this stronger than ever before, and more prepared than ever before.
I will talk to you lovely people soon!
